My name is Mary McGrew, and I have been a
registered/licensed Laboratory Technician for more than 10 years,
working with the elderly population; drawing their blood, collecting
their body fluids & analyzing it by running a diagnotic tests to
help assess their health. I also used to work as a phlebotomist
thruoghout my college days, most of the time I go to nursing homes &
independent or assisted living facilities & draw blood from the
residents.
I began my company after doing this for so long & I
started noticing the stress of senior residents related to selling &
leaving their home, where they spent a lifelong journey. Most residents
may have had an injury due to fall or started losing their memory,
confuse or just couldn't stay or maintain their home by themselves, but
still in a very good health. I began to think of alternative to help
these people avoid the stress of huge transition. I knew these people
just need a little help to do their normal tasks, at the very same time,
my elderly close relatives were going through the same situation and I
wanted so much to help & be there for them. With these
circumstances, I saw the great need and I decided to start my company,
Angel Care @ Home, LLC.
